Channel Islands Harbor Peninsula Revetment Repair Project

This project involved the repair and replacement of the rock revetment located around the south end of Peninsula Road in Channel Islands Harbor. The project included removal of existing armor stone and soil, re-grading the existing slope to a 1.75 (horizontal):1 (vertical) slope using 3/4" crushed rock, installing filter fabric to assist in stabilizing the slope, and placing approximately 8,700 tons of new 1/4-ton armor stone over the reshaped stablized slope. Construction generally occured from elevations of approximately -12 feet MLLW to +11 feet MLLW.
